Like the Me 109 E, this mini misses a star because of its misshapen tail. The area above the elevators where the swastika goes has almost no space, and the rudder shape is off. The malady is compounded because the rear fuselage is a bit fatter than it should be near the tail, from a side view. It only looks too thick from the side, and not from the top or bottom. Now the good things: The engine and forward fuselage have that sexy 109 F cigar shape. The cockpit grooves are deeper than the Me 109 E mini, and so are the rear fuselage section lines, although in general all the fuselage lines could be deeper still. This is I think one of the first Raiden planes to introduce line detail on the undersides, which is great, but no wheel wells. The overall proportions are great: the wing shapes are true to the real thing and the measurements are in scale. This mini can be used for the G-2 and G-4 models, which are almost identical. 4 stars, mostly for the tail business. Still is the best Me 109 F that I know of. Among the next best options, Museum's version is too slender in my opinion, and C-in-C's version overall shape do not resemble the actual Ferdinand as well as Raiden, plus the wheels are huge and of a different shape. Better to draw/paint them on the Raiden :)
